    EVINRUDE 225 NO POWER

    This motor is driveing me craz This motor is driveing me crazy it's a 1986 Evinrude 225. It runs fine then when I start giveing it gas to get up on plane it just dies. I have checked power paks and they are good replaced trigger and thats not it. Im wondering if it could be with the VRO system...

    MAGNETS FLYWHEEL

    I have a 1986 Evinrude 225 tha I have a 1986 Evinrude 225 that I had to pull Flywheel off to replace Timing Base and 2 magnets came unglued. Now can I reglue them back on?? If so what glue do I use?? Or do I have to buy new Flywheel? Thanks Dave

    I have a 1986 225 Evinrude and I have a 1986 225 Evinrude and was wondering is there a way to test power pak? Motor runs fine but wont plain out then dies. Thanks Dave

    EVINRUDE 225 Primer Solnoid Pump Problems

    "Ok now I have a new problem.. "Ok now I have a new problem.. I have a 1986 225hp Evinrude. The solnoid pump to prime carbs is not pumping gas. The pump clicks but no gas comes out. I got gas to it.. Is there a kit to rebuild it?? I was quoted 163.00 for a new one, little high??? Any help...
