    Teflon Tape for sealing gasoline tank fittings

    I have a 6 gallon plastic moeller outboard fuel tank. I have the brass fitting that screws in and adapts it for use with omc fittings. Will regular teflon tape work to seal the threads????... Do I need the yellow tape???? The tapered brass fitting actually screws into the black plastic part...

    Does anyone have any experience using synthetic oil in older engines. I was going to change the engine oil on my 10 year, 4 cycle snowblower and the only oil I could find in the garage was full synthetic. If the oil is the same viscosity, can I safely use it without engine damage. I know this...

    Salt Neutralizing Products

    I have always thoroughly fresh water flushed my motor before winterizing it. This year I was considering a salt removing agent as well. Does anyone have any experience using these products. Are there any negative experiences?

    Why host a website and not maintain it ????

    Whoever gets paid to maintain this site has to visit it at least 2x a day to remove spam. It has become a frustrating and practically useless website....somebody is not doing their job. Anyone who has administrative privileges should be able to clean it up with a few 2 minute visits each day.
