    Can anyone tell me the torque setting for the lower unit bolts on a 2000 30hp Mariner. I have repaired one stripped thread and don't want to strip another. Thanks.

    Spark plugs

    Buying plugs for my for my Mercury 150hp efi 2 stroke. 2004 model. In Cairns they want $30 plus per plug. That is an NGK BPZ8HS-10. Is there a cheaper alternative.

    Charging problem

    150 Mercury saltwater series was not charging batteries on last trip. Motor died 200 m from ramp on the way home. Any idea what it could be and why would the motor stop once it was running.

    overvoltage problem

    30 HP Mariner. I smoked the fish finder and was told to replace the rectifier which I did. Still getting 20v dc and also ac readings at battery. Not game to connect new fish finder.
