I need some help with the conversion, My Lyman 26 Sleeper has an original reverse rotation 318 engine and I purchased a rebuilt standard rotation 318.
I bought a new reverse rotation camshaft and know I need to rotate the pistons 180 degrees at the wrist pins on the rebuilt standard rotation engine.
I will re-use the distributer gear/oil pump shaft assy. in the conversion.
I need to know about the crankshaft, if there is some drilling needed to accommodate lubrication, also what about the front and rear main seals?
