Looking to purchase a rebuilt

Looking to purchase a rebuilt 1981 or so OMC Motor: Model # 990244C-1 and Out drive: Model # 982460. I would be willing to modernize for sure as long as the replacements would mount up without to much trouble. Boat is around 25'.

motor - says fresh water, low hours like new

1980 400 series outdrive - you're in trouble there. That year is hydromechanical shift. They are all pretty much gone into the recycling bin. You WILL have to update to full mech. shift. 140HP in a 25'boat? Hope you have twin engines."
