" Hi. I recently bought a 1969 Slickcraft 16 ft boat from a friend who can no longer use it due to health problems. It has been sitting for 2 years in his garage. It has a built in 18 gallon gas tank and was about 3/4 full when I bought it. The gas was not treated with anything and is probably 2 years old too. I siphoned almost all of the old gas out and want to clean out the tank and start fresh. The tank insides are full of gunk, crud and slime. Do you have any suggestions about cleaning this up? Is there some kind of chemical you use? I think the whole tank can be taken right out of the boat. Thanks for any tips you can give. "
