Merc 170 fuel line

i have a small crimp in my met

i have a small crimp in my metal fuel line that feeds the carb....should i replace the line or dont even worry about it...where would i get one anyway if i decide to replace it?

"SG: If it is not over 1/2 the diameter of the fuel line, don't worry about it--just make sure it isn't cracked and leaking. The following website has the formed fuel line--not cheap, about $35 + shipping.

Replace it now. If is is crim

Replace it now. If is is crimped the motor vibration can cause it to break. There is some pressure here coming out of the fuel pump heading to the carb. A small crack in the line can cause it to spray fuel!!!!! Replace it with OEM Mercruiser part. This line is stainless steel I think. Not worth chancing!!
