" In the spring of 2002 I had my outdrive looked at and tested by dealer. The dealer said everything looked good. Anyway it locked up 80hrs after that. Then I took it to another dealer once taken apart is was very low on oil and sum water was mixed in with the oil as well.
The bearings got cooked and locked up. The grears are black and I'm told may be weak from the heat.
Do you think it was put back together wrong?
Should I buy new?
Should I buy used?
