"Hi,
My 1995 115 Merc has been very reliable up until last weekend. I just put gas in it, it started fine, and was idling perfectly at the dock.

Then, just quit.
Motor has service about a year ago. Plugs are fine. Stator was replaced 3 years ago (which is the only other time the motor quit).
Am I missing some common prolem?

" Shawn, you didn't by chance accidently hit the kill switch, did you? The one with the red lanyard. Fuel line plugged in right? If all these are hooked up, pull the spark plugs and check to see if you have spark on all cylinders. Have someone crank over the engine and put the plugs in the plug wires and ground them to the block and ck for spark. BE AWARE, DO NOT touch the plug, you WILL get ZAPPED! "
