Is there a way to be sure oil

Is there a way to be sure oil injection on a 92 40hsp Evinrude is working? Previous owner did't trust it and mixed 50-1. Smokes a lot and oil in the run tank. Thanks

u need to test t

u need to test the oil pump output
u need a manual for specs
we can tell u but the manual is a lot better when u have it in front of u
 
The shop recommended that I re

The shop recommended that I replace the VRO pump($300) or remove the lines. I think I can mix a lot of gas for $300. Should'nt be a big deal to cut and plug the line. What do you think? Thanks
