When pressing the trim button

When pressing the trim button up the motor will not rise and no sound at all. When pressing the trim button down the motor will lower. Had the hose from the speedometer come lose and spray water all over the inside of the dash. Wondering if is electrical?

"Look at the link below for reference, in the middle area are the trim controls. If yours works going down the power wire (red/blue) and the fuse must be fine. You need to use a meter or test light and check at the blue wire on the up solenoid, if you have power there then it could be a bad solenoid, if no power you need to follow it back to the switch, could be a bad switch or broken wire.
