2GM20F oiltransmission fluid requirements

"I've recently come into possession of a 1993 2GM20F; it was laid up well, and runs, but I haven't yet changed the oil.

I don't have the necessary manuals yet, although they're on order.

Can anyone tell me what the recommended oil and transmission fluid requirements are, both weight and amounts?"

"We use 15W40 inthe pacific North West all year around. Engine and Reverse Gear. The revese gear will have a tag top center and will tell you qty, usually .7 litre. Litre and US quart a wee be smaller. The engine will take about 2.5 and change the engine oil filter."
