120 Mercruiser IO Freeze Plug location

I have a 1977 Arrow GLass with

I have a 1977 Arrow GLass with a 120 Mercruiser IO engine. Does anyone know if there is a freeze plug in the back of the block where the stern drive bolts on (behind the flywheel)? I have water leaking out (large amounts) from the bell housing area. How hard is it to pull engine? Easier to pull stern drive? Thanks

Item #2 in diagram shows one expansion plug in the back. Does it leak water while running in the driveway on muffs? If not, then it's not the plug. Torn bellows more likely; no need to pull the engine for bellows, just the OD.

"there is one 1.75" core plug on the back, and it is only accessible by pulling the engine."
