It is abrasion resistant and it is reinforced with wire helix imbedded between piles of HD synthetic cord. This imported hose is primarily used for fuel fill (gas or diesel) and is for pleasure boats only. It meets SAE J1527 Type A2 and ISO 7840 Type A2 NMMA/CE Type Accepted standards. This hose complies with EPA and CARB very low permeation requirements. It meets USCG Type A1-15 requirements for pleasure boats, SAE J1527 TypeA1-15, ISO7840TypeA1, andNMMA/CEType accepted standards Shields Fire-Acol 15 – Low Permeation Fuel Hose has a special design NBR tube with an embedded plastic barrier layer to prevent permeation.Thedesignof this hose provides easy coupling insertion and the NBR/PVCcover isweather andUVresistant. The hose is also polyester reinforced and fire-resistant. This hose is primarily used for fuel feed (gasoline up to 85% ethanol blended fuels/diesel/bio-diesel all blends).
