It is rated for full vacuum and is resistant to mild chemicals and saltwater. This hose is primarily used for bilge pump intake and discharge, drains (sinks, shower, and scupper), livewell intake and drain, and sanitation (intake and vent). This hose is utilized for below the waterline connections. Do not use ethylene gly- col based antifreeze in hose. Shields Vac Extra Heavy Duty/FDA Hose has a smooth white FDA grade PVC with vinyl helix. It is rated for full vacuum and is resistant to mild chemicals, per- meation, and saltwater. This hose is primarily used for bilge pump intake and discharge, drains (sinks, shower, and scupper), livewell intake and drain, potablewatertankfill,andsanitation(toiletto holding tank, intake, self draining lines vent andpumpout).Thishose is resistant toodor permeation. Do not use ethylene glycol based antifreeze in hose. Do not use in pressurized water systems.
