REMOTE CONTROLS SIDE MOUNT CONTROLS Outboard Use only SIDE MOUNT REMOTE CONTROL 881170A 3 This control features a non ‑ power trim handle, 15 ft.(4.58 m) harness and built ‑ in warning horn. Fits all current Mercury/Mariner Outboards 6 HP and above (without power trim) and 1993 and newer Force Outboards 40 HP and higher utilizing Mercury style cables (with power trim). For MY2005 and newer 8/9.9 FourStroke Outboards SAE T/S cables must be used. For 8/9.9 FourStroke engines generation change above S/N OR192772 and 15/20 FourStroke engines will use GEN I cables. When used with a MY2005 and newer 8/9.9, 15/20 FourStroke Outboard an Adapter harness is required. GEN I cables must be used on other engines. SIDE MOUNT REMOTE CONTROL 881170A 4 This control is for manual start models and has a 20 ft.(6.1 m) harness. The control features a Toggle switch for remote shut off of the engine. Fits current pull style throttle, manual start Mercury/Mariner 6/25 HP, 30/40 HP (2 cyl. ‑ U.S. origin), 40 (3 & 4 cyl.) to 45 HP, 8/9.9, 15/20 HP FourStroke models (1996 and newer), and Force 25 HP (3 cyl.) For MY2005 and newer 8/9.9 FourStroke Outboards SAE T/S cables must be used. For 8/9.9 FourStroke engines generation change above S/N OR192772 and 15/20 FourStroke engines will use GEN I cables. This control features a push throttle cable operation and a Toggle switch for remote shut off of the engine. Fits older push style throttle Mercury/Mariner 20/25 HP (U.S. S/N 0G044026 and below; Belgium S/N 9807908 and below) and Force 9.9/15 HP (1997 and older).
