I did my remote conversion of the 20hp Tohatsu outboard, Everything is hooked up, tach etc light up - BUT the outboard does not crank. I turn the key on the remote (Tohatsu OEM) and nothing. My best guess is that I made a mistake connecting wires to the starter solenoid.
This is how I have hooked it up. Black wire on left, red on right, black and grey wire (hooked in green wire on right, black wire on right, and wire to fuse on right. Somewhere in there I must have made a mistake. Any idea where I went wrong - before I take it to a shop? When I switched out the tiller to the remote harness I went plug by plug to not forget or mess up a connection.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
