Water separator

I have a 2013 mercury 90 hp 4 stroke and can't seem to find a water separator on it. I also looked for an in boat filter and can't find one. I seem to only have the high and low pressure filters on it. Is this normal on larger outboards.

No it's not normal. Have you looked below the deck? Not that hard to install. Usually installed between tank and primer bulb.

I have looked everywhere. I did read in the motor manual not to add any filters to it.

Possibility fuel pump can't handle added friction loss, thus sacrificing WOT
