Water pressure gauge connection

Hello, I am looking for information on how and where to connect the hose to a 1999 Johnson 50 HP motor to show the water pressure in the motor on our gauge in the dash. We have Model # J50ELEER motor. This may not even be what this gauge is for but that's all we can figure, this is our first ever boat so if we are wrong, please forgive the ignorance!

Look on the Cylinder & Crankcase Parts Diagram. I believe the plug listed as #17 can have an 1/8" NPT (Or maybe 1/4" NPT) to 3/16" hose barb adapter threaded in to give you water pressure. There may also be a fitting on the head by the top cylinder for the same purpose.
