Hi, new to the forum. I just bought a little 16' CC with a 2004 60hp outboard. I was cleaning it up and looks like I hit the Trim sending unit with the broom I was washing the boat with. I've searched for 2 hours, can someone tell me if this piece is just for a gauge or would it prevent me from trimming my engine down, because no only the trim up works? I definitely pulled the green wire out of the mounting screw. I repaired that and still no luck. Thanks in advance.
