Tilt for a 1985 OMC 3.0

Would or could someone please tell me how to remove the pack from the tilt on my drive. If you could send some pictures that would be great.

Ok lift the drive all the way tie it up or stick a piece of wood to jam it up.

Rmove the half moon gear.

Remove the clutch cover.

The small gear that moves the half moon gear has a c-clip remove.

the pack should come out.

Tap it, if not.

Want to remove the worm gear ?

Remove the triangle on the front. The worm gear comes out the front.
