My DT65 -model year 1988 does not behave as it should in trolling mode. There is an idle speed adjuster (Suzuki part 37920-94710) under the cover purposed to adjust the trolling idle speed. The knob has 5 or 6 distinct steps from "SLOW" to "FAST" and it is has a two wire connection to the electronic control unit. I suppose it is a variable resistor but when measuring ohmic impedance there seem to be open circuit in all positions except most towards "FAST".
Does anyone know the characteristics on this components?
