I was quite surprised when doing the 20-hour oil change and lower-unit oil change of my new Suzuki DF140B...
I had repowered from an old (and 100# heavier) Honda BF130 that was starting to show some age-related issues -- but on that one, the Honda has a "small magnet" set inside the tip of the lower screw on the lower unit. I'd carefully inspect and wipe it during each fluid change.
Given all the other features and build quality that I see in the new Suzi, I'm just surprised to see a bare screw at the low point in the lower unit.
