Spark plug boot paste?

Hi all

Any thoughts on applying a conductive spark plug anti oxidation paste in the connection boot? May it be suggested or rather overkill?

Just considering a little make up for the sweet running 1965 Johnson 6 hp

Well ------good spark can jump a gap of 1/4" or more on that wonderful motor.------A little bit of rust on inside of boot won't stop the spark or this motor !----Overkill in my opinion.
