Seeking manual for indmar 350 efi

1. Crank engine : done. A little water came out...good idea
2. Remove Raw water hose from hull side of cooler : done . That's the same place where I connect a custom pipe to anti freeze bucket
3. Plugs : out and in bag
4. I'll keep boat in water , only a few days sub zero .

I realize I'm asking a lot of questions and don't want to over stay my welcome with you , you have been super helpful and it's appreciated, ive made notes of everythingyou've told me ..............Could you give 1 more comment on my plan to remove thermostat and run anti freeze 5 gallons for a minute or so ?
I have posted more than 13,000 times at Team Talk- don't worry about it.

Again, if you drain the block, and I would do that any time I run anti-freeze through, the intake manifold won't have water in it so using the raw water pump to draw it in will get it to where it needs to be. It's also best to remove each plug after, to make sure it comes out in the color of the anti-freeze. That way, since you used the raw water pump to pull straight anti-freeze in, you don't need to disconnect the hoses.

I would leave the boat on the lift UNLESS you have temperatures below freezing for more than a day. The rule of thumb used by the last dealer WRT Winterization warranty is: if the temperature has been 32 or lower for three days, no warranty because there's no way to know if it froze and since the boats are brought inside for all Winter work, any ice in the engine will probably melt by the time someone starts, especially if additional work is needed.

Thanks .... so is it OK to run antifreeze with thermostat removed ...for a minute or 2.

It's fine, but I don't know why anyone would if the engine has been drained and it's not a 6 cylinder GM, which has a square-head plug at the front of the intake manifold. Never heard about that until a few years ago, but apparently it's the only way to drain those manifolds. Yours doesn't have this plug.

All done , 20 degrees tomorrow :)
Question . All hoses are reconnected. You made the point the lake water won't freeze If I now lower the boat into lake while the freeze continues , what happens to the water intake under the hull, does lake water enter the pipes ? Is this a problem ?

The water that enters the hose after the hull fitting could freeze, but the bilge will be closer to the water temperature than air temp, especially if the cover is on the boat.

You're use environmentally safe antifreeze, right? If so, you can add it before the cold temperatures- many boats are run on the water for the first time of the season after being filled. The DNR might not like it but they won't come down on you like a ton of bricks the way they would if they see a flourescent green cloud behind the boat from automotive coolant/antifreeze.

How many times would you use the boat over the Winter?
