Seacraft outboard motor - same as Evinrude Johnson ???

Can anyone direct me to where I might find out some info regarding Seacraft outboards? I have a customer says he has a 8 hp model with a sn H6 8044, and he's wondering if its parts are common with Evinrude Johnson small motors because of visual similarity.
