"Sometimes, J-I-T, I get the feeling You are running through every post 'squirting' like a dog on the lamp posts. It is not a competition about haveing the most posts, but more to try give some effective help and solve some problems, but no hard feeling!
I try it this way:

"You may post anything that has allready been made public and does not get in conflict with copyright laws and that fits into the rather limmited allowed upload size that this board has. You may, if You feel for it, post info from copyrighted material, but not copy/scan and post!
The BRP parts catalog is free to the public, and may be posted as above. Scanning of copyrighted manuals etc may be a different story. There is no reason not to provide a hyperlink if it helps, but personally I would not put a hyperlink for parts to a company that might be a competitor to Marine Engine. ( Just as a courtsey to Andrew keeping this board running).
Dealers are not on every corners and some people might for different reasons not want to go to the local dealer.
Sometimes it is quite fun to watch some posts from the outside, just observing. Somtimes it gets just too tempting to drop a 'naughty' comment.
