Rough Patch

Crusader 5.7 litre. Engine was going into limp mode ( no throttle and running rough ) and overheating. That has been corrected. Now after running about 2 hrs. it will run rough for up to 30 seconds then self correct. The RPM at the time doesn't seem to matter. We have changed the fuel filter, bled the system and added additional fuel additive ( Sea Foam ) to no avail. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Serial number or build year would be good to know as well...there's been a few changes since their introduction..

I think the issue has been narrowed down to air in the fcc. is it normal to have to bleed air from the fcc regularly ? if not, what are the possble causes of air in the fcc ?

Regularly need to bleed off air - NO.

a leak on the suction side would be my initial subject...
