ring gear

Any ideas as to information on installing ring gear to flywheel on a 1998 2 stroke 25 hp outboard?

Yup unscrew the old one and install the new one with loc tite on the screws. Use a hand impact to loosen the old screws. Torque the screws to 100 in/lbs

My flywheel does not have ring gear on it. I am installing one as part of converting my outboard to have an electric start.
So I don't have to heat it up to install because it bolts on, right? Can it be bolted on without removing the flywheel?
