Replacing mercury 150 4 stroke alternator

I have a 2012 mercury 4 stroke 150 and need to change my alternator
Does anybody have tips u can give me on how to remove and install a new one?
As heard there is no belt tensioner so can be difficult to reinstall . I guess removing would the easy part but need advice how to install it back

Not entirely familiar with this specific engine, but generally the alternator mounting bracket and bolt usually act as the tensioner, the bolt on the bracket should essentially 'walk' in the bracket to achieve desired tension before the final tighten, holding one side with a wrench and tightening with the other.
