Remove a 350 mercruiser

I just found tha I have to replace my gimbal ring, and the gimbal housing. I was told that I have to remove the engine to replace the transom assembly( I purchased it.) Can anyone send me info in how to remove the engine, The boat is presently on blocks.

Remove drive, remove the cables,hoses, wiring ,remove the front lags (4), the 2 rear bolts,lift straight up and out, remove exaust pipe, remove transom.
