Over the weekend i nicked my port prop on the rock. No vibration till 2100 RPMs and then there is a small vibration which gets worse in the higher rpms My question is will be safe if a run the boat for the rest of the season under 2100 RPMs ? and then have it repaired when boat is a storage? Just want to make sure i wont do more damage then it is. Thanx in advance

I wouldn't. I was in New York harbor once and hit a submerged piling. Had to limp home because of the vibration. The next day I got in the water and removed the prop and took it to a prop shop to straighten. It was not too difficult getting it off, the real problem was the jelly fish stinging me.

2X on the "wouldn't"

the prop is out of balance and should be repaired....can you run it? sure but the more the prop turns, the more likely you are to induce collateral damage...if you have to run it, I wouldn't go much above idle speed...
