Power trim

Hello, I have a Volvo Penta 225 and as soon as I make a move, the following message comes up:
POWER TRIM FAILURE DRIVE TRIM PCU
Any idea??

The PCU says the power trim is not working

Start by checking all the connections of corrosion. Take them apart and clean contacts
Check for power to the unit, might have a blown fuse/breaker

I have seen some small leaks in the trim fuses. The trim has recently been exposed to a lot of water, but it works both above and below, without the trim panel, and on its own with a cable that I made a bridge myself! Thanks, I will check the cables again.

and also when it gives the error, then it doesn't make any movement, and if I press the trim up or down once then I can make movement but only once! and then it stops again..
