"I am new to the performance enhancment of marine engines, have been dragracing for years..customer wants to upgrade his 350s, that are in a 93 housboat. They currently have 4BBL Rochesters, he wants to go to different manifolds and Holley carbs......I have tried shopping on line to find appropriate and absolutley interchangable, but havn't had success. Can someone guide me to the needed site, also how can I tell if he has the 270hp. Also, when did the roller cam start being the norm in the Crusader 350 engines, thanks for all the replies and help :) Ken"

"Advise him to leave things as they are. The cost of new carbs and etc. would buy lots of gas! Houseboats are slow, gas eaters no matter what powers them.

At about the Same Time Chevy started using Rollers..........."
