Painting/Coating Engine Internals

Fellow Boaters,

Seeking info from anyone regarding what products to use to treat the water passages in engine head and around cylinder jugs. Reason like most folks get corrosion and I would like to reduce the breakdown of those aluminum surfaces especially.

I see a product from JPEGS (Thermo Tec High Heat Coating) and an associated Zinc primer (KBS Coating Xtreme Temp coating). not pushing this product, just seem applicable.

I have Honda BF150s, but corrosion is not selective we all get it!

Any advice whether this is a good or bad idea. Or better products to use.

Thanks in advance,
Paul

Ayuh,..... Internal motor coatings never last, 'n cause other problems when they peel off,.....

I can do that for sure, that is over think it. But I am curious to the problem I don't have. I have other posts trying to discuss an over heating issue, Plus I have already removed engine head a second time to find corrosion around cylinder jugs. But not as bad as last year.
