OMC Engine and Outdrive

I am trying to install the outdrive that I had purchased from you last year, but now with 350 OMC engine and out drive(OMC) when we tried to put it together seems like the shaft is 1" to long it will not bolt up can you please help

"Who" did you buy the outdrive from???? and what year are we talking about? Is it a Cobra or Stringer drive? What size was the engine you bought the drive for? Need a lot more information.

Are the splines matching?

That is the Drive Shaft and the Coupler?

didnt buy it from me either but i think he has the same problem as i did where his intermediate shaft is too long and the engine wont seat up with the bell housing...i could be wrong but thats what i gathered from the information lacking post
