new oil drips from drain hole on bottom of cowlen. oil appears to be comming from front of engine. this drip started all at once. also noticed gas in seportor has dark oilly color. could this be a fuel/oil pump problem?

"John.... I'm at a loss to visualize this drain hole you speak of that exists on the bottom of the cowling. You'll need to inspect the powerhead area thoroughly to find that oil leak source.

However, the discovery of a dark oily colored substance that you've found in the water/fuel seperator (I'm assuming a water/fuel seperator) indicates that the VRO is faulty and is allowing oil to back up into the gasoline system. Possibly this is also the source of the oil leakage.
