I have a 84 Wellcraft 32' it has a thru the hull transducer, any advice on how to match the connector from the transducer to the proper depth finder??

Airmar has a pretty complete cross reference and wiring diagrams.

Good for you in staying with the Thru Hull Ducer. These normally offer a better and more powerful signal.
More expensive, Yes!
But a 32 footer deserves this!

Before finding and installing a connector, I'd suggest making sure the transducer is compatible with the sounder. They both need to be tuned to operate at the same frequency. The transducer also needs to be rated to handle the power level of the signal sent to it.

agreed and some units (Raymarine) won't necessarily work just because the connector "fits". Airmar makes some of the transducers for specfic manufacturers and have electronics in the transducer.
