Hi all, I have the new honda 150 with the gmi20 multifunction guage.
On the weekend I have run out of fuel with the guage still showing 45 litres in the tank.
I know it was sent up correctly and very accurately to start with.
Ive only used maybe 3 hundred litres of fuel so far so my guess is that it is about 10 percent out with the fuel burn. I understand the ecu sends this data to the gmi20
I dont have a fuel leak in the tank so I'm a bit stumped and I doubt 40 litres could evaporate in 8 months ?
Has anyone had this issue before?
I also wonder if I can add an analogue guage as well as keep the fuel data etc on the mdi20.
Is it OK to splice into the sender wires and run both without it effecting the mdi20?
That way I know how much fuel I have without needing the fancy mdi20.
