"i have 72 60HP Mercury 2 Stroke with complete tune-up, checked carb and water pump, everything ok says mechanic, but took boat out and sometimes(2 out of 4 times) the motor seems like it wants to go when you accelerate, but wont. NEED HELP"

"i would also agree - spun prop, i would take the prop off and check it out. its not too uncommon of a problem."
