Model 70

I recently purchased a 1958 Adams skier with a gray marine model 70 engine. Looking for some advice on wiring and related updates.

The wiring looks stretched and old that runs from the dash back to the engine for oil temp, starter, etc.

Let me know if any of you have worked on this engine or have related experience.

Probably be easiest to make your own harness. Use marine grade wire and marine grade crimp connectors with the proper tool.

I would make a schematic of what you have and take lots of pictures...probably a good idea to change the ignition switch while you are at it...and the same goes for battery cables.
