"I have a 1979 Johnson 140hp (140ML79R) that Joe helped me adjust the electrical system. Now I have very good sparks, but the motor is misfiring. I could start the motor with the water hose (left it running really nice for 15 min), but it did not start when I took it to the lake (misfired a lot and started sometimes and idled rought until it would misfire again and die). I was thinking it should be that the carbs needs to be clean. So I took the carbs out and it looked very clean to me. I cleaned it again. What is the settings for the carbs? There are two. Does anybody think it could be something else?"
