Mercury 150 blackmax

OK I got my engine running but there isn't a stream coming out of the phole. I hooked it up to muffs and ran it for about 30 seconds and shut it off. I took all of the hoses off and cleaned them and and did some reading and people were saying I could take a couple of minutes to start peeing. After cleaning it i let it run for about a minute or so and still no stream. Any help would be really appreciated thanks
