Low No RPM’s

[FONT=&quot]I have a Suzuki 55 (DT55). [/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]While boating on the lake, without warning, I started to lose power. [/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]The engine will start with no problem but will not reach plane speeds.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]In neutral the engine will idle or Rev up as high as I like but when I shift to forward, only low RPMs. If I attempt to throttle to full speed the engine will stall and cut off.[/FONT]

You need to check spark and compression and look at spark plugs
then see if pumping the primer bulb keeps it from stalling

In neutral, RPM’s will red line. Plugs okay.

if you keep reving that motor up in neutral, you will blow it up!
