*Leaking carb* please help

Ive got a 1985 50hp mercury it's been setting in a shop for about 3 years. It will start up but not idle. And its leaking fuel from the adjustment needle. * at least that what I think it's callled* I took the carbs off and cleaned them up and it is going the same thing. I've worked on cars for years but I'm pretty much green when it comes to boat motors. I'm trying to avoid spending a bunch of money at a boat shop as I'm just trying to have a way to take my son out fishing ever now and then. I have a video of what it's doing. But I'm also new to this page not sure how to post it. Thank you for any help yall can offer.
