Johnson 1999 150hp Starts fine Dies laters

.I have a Johnson 150 1999. Took it out for the first time since March. It starts fine and runs well. After stoping and sitting for a while, then starting it up is when the problem happens. It will start right up, I then put it in gear and it loses power and dies. It will eventually start after squeezing the bulb it will run fine again. It seems though I have to give it more gas to get it going. Any help always appreciated.
