Johnson 115 VRO Year???

Hi, Can anyone please tell me what year this engine could be. It has the tag missing from it and I would like to get a service and carb kit for it.

I forgot to say that it is a 115 V4 with trim and tilt, was a VRO but has been converted to premix.

I'm sure that someone will ID the engine simply by the paint job, unless it has been repainted.

However, look on the powerhead for a core plug (looks like a small quarter size freeze out plug) which may have the model and serial number on it. The model number would be what we need.
 
Thanks for the info. I posted this before but got no response. Maybe you can tell me. Id really appreciate any info.
The plug has "Co400119 " on it.
Would you know if this engine mounting would be the same as a 1988 70Hp Johnson? Im talking transom mount holes.
 
The graphics on the cowling indicate that it is an 85 model.--------Mounting holes were the same on these motors for many , many years.------88 ---70 HP has the exact same mounting holes.---Has the exact same control box too.
 
Just had a bit of time on my hands so did a bit of digging on this engine. It looked like a VRO pump would never fit where the fuel pump was and the choke solenoid was the type that pulled the choke flaps down. It would seem that the cover has been replaced and the engine is more like 1979. That would make it more like a 115990R model #.
Just thought I would post this in case it helps anybody
