I have a 2000 40 hp mercury ELPT on a 2000 bass tracker pro team 175 tx. and the trim won't work at the throttle at all, and the trim button at the front of the boat and on the motor itself only work intermittently. The intermittent problem only happens after the boat gets put in the water and has been in for a few hours. When I take it out and let it set for awhile the trim will start working again.
Any suggestions to fix
A: no trim at the throttle regardless of factors.
B: intermittent trim at front of boat and at the motor itself.
