Installing temperature sender on 1986 75 hp Merc 2 stroke, 4 Cyl

Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone would know where a sensor could be installed on these motors so I can add a temperature gauge. There is no thermostat on these model motors.

That a restriction cooling system and you would hardly see gauge move, better to install a 15psi water pressure gauge. It will go in plug between cylinders 2 & 3

Is it possible to install both. Always concerned about this as my father in law had a plastic bag wrap around the intake one time and setoff the temperature alarm. If it wasn't for that I'm sure he would of cooked his 120hp Evinrude.
