I have milky oil coming out of this hole!

I have 1983 Mariner 9.9 motor. Took it out yesterday and it ran great. Then taking the boat out and while it was sitting on the trailer I noticed milky oil coming out of that hole mark above. Can I get recommendation on this. Thank you

Pop out your fill plug and take look odds are water is leaking into the gear case.

I just look at the fill seals and they seemed good. The oil was coming out of the hole above and to the right of the oil fill plug , as seen in photo! What is this hole for?

Remove the plug and see if the same milky oil drains from the lower unit. If so there is water intrusion.

That is a drain hole for the cavity in the gearcase.------And sometimes some exhaust with oil will leak out too.----Pressure test the gearcase as that is the PRO way to stop wild guessing !

Drain lower unit,then hit with low pressure,too much pressure will destroy the possible good seals in l/u

Thank you all for the advice. I drained the lower unit, it was milky, but no additional water. I put new gear oil in and put in new gaskets on both screws . I will take it out again see what it looks like when I come back.
